Proto RS2

Are the Proto N scale Frisco RS2's decent runners? Or, should I look for something more refined for a small, operation-based N scale layout?

 

I've got two (both #'s) of the N scale RS-2 and they run like Swiss watches. They run great together or separately.

I concur, they are pretty good runners.

Also, If you are interested in putting DCC in one, they are a virtual clone of the Kato RS-2s, so they use the same decoder.
