We are on the Frisco Highline Trail at the Frisco Depot for Pearl, Missouri. A post office called Pearl was established in 1886, and remained in operation until 1928. The community was named after a local child.
The Frisco Depot was in 1884. By the 1950s it was little more than a tool shed.

Can anyone with better eyes than mine make out the type of siding on the last photo of the passenger Shelter?

For dimensions, it doesn’t look much bigger than a crossing watchman’s shanty.

It looks like two sheets of plywood, the upper one 4 feet tall and the lower one about 3 feet tall.
