Are any folks here interesting in old Frisco stuff? I worked inthe Springfield yards for 8 years, mostly on the midnight shift, and have a steam/diesel handle collection of about 50 pieces (sander, throttle, brake), two passenger car lanterns with Frisco on them (brand new), lots of switch lights, an old Frisco nose sign off a steam engine, three old steam test guages from the 30's and 40's, 10 to 20 brass locks/keys with Frisco on them, etc. And a bunch of other stuff. Just wondered if anyone was interested. Thanks
There are lots of us individuals who would be interested, as I imagine several museum groups be. The group that runs the museum at Carona, KS helped put on the first Frisco get-together in 2009, Smokey Hill had a train ride for us in 2010 and the Springfield group cooperated with the meet in 2011.
I'd be interested I don't have a large collection of Frisco stuff but I'm working on one. Ship it on the Frisco!!! Murphy Jenkins
If you're selling, why don't you decide what you'd like to get for the items, take some pictures (Or write up descriptions) and post them to the "Swap Meet" thread. The interested folks can make offers or bid. If you're giving them away, you can connect with the interested parties, first come first serve. Tom G.
