After two unsuccessful starts as the Atlantic & Pacific Railroad, The St. Louis and San Francisco Railway (FRISCO) was incorporated in 1875 and began operations the following year. Available for sale are three company annual reports from the seventh, eighth & ninth years of operation (1883, 1884,1885). It is interesting to read about their use of 52#, 54# and 67# steel rail having more than 100 miles of iron rail still in use. There is a narrative about the Frisco leasing the old A&P Central Division from the Missouri border westward into the Indian Nation territory. These reports are 137+ years old and fragile.
