I am getting ready to transition an Indiana Harbor Belt 0-8-0 into a Frisco Consolidation. I tried checking Walthers for the 'Large Scale' catalog but could not find it on their site. Anyway, does anyone know where I can get detail parts for the loco--such as correct sized pilot trucks? I used to run in O gauge but now I need to check out the O scale side.

Check out www.proto48.com. They list a wealth of O scale manufacturers who offer O scale parts. Run through all of the editions of their online magazine since the products do change with each issue.

The IHB O-8-O with the Elesco feedwater heater and offset bell on the smokebox is the most beautiful steam switcher ever built! Katy fan Ed Chambers had planned to build a Katy O-8-O out of the old AHM plastic kit at one time. The project was stillborn. He did build a model of Katy´s wood caboose 823 though and painted it in Sloan Yellow. A real O scale beauty!
