Just received an e-mail from Intermountain Railway Co. And going through all of the listing showing what is currently being released and future release, there is not one FRISCO item, none, zilch, zero.
How much longer do we have to wait?

Are you HO or N? Intermountain has cancelled some N Scale runs in the past due to lack of interest. That's bad. When I started my small little N Scale Frisco site, I did it with the goal of banding together, or attracting like-minded people in order to demonstrate to manufacturers that there is a known group of people that will buy Frisco releases.

More modern stuff and less fallen flag stuff is not good for folks like us. I want manufacturers to know (and I hope it is true) that there are enough people out there that will buy this stuff that it is worth releasing. If they know they can sell it, they will offer it.

The MFA hoppers are good news though (I think).

I see IM's black and yellow N scale Frisco FP-7's are still listed for February after several delays. I've had a set preordered for quite a while.

I pre-ordered two of the u-boats and two of the new bay window cabooses. I hope they make the cut. Any body know?

Please elaborate as to what you are referring to?

The U Boat is the Atlas U 30 B Phase 2 SLSF 846 and 848. The Caboose is the Athearn Bay Window ATH 74763 and 74761.

As far as I know, both of these items are still in the works. We just need to be patient!

My faith is really fading now that the industry will quit dragging its feet and start making stuff again. Just looked and atlas has put the U30B's on TBA status again. They were annouced in 2010!

And Athearn now says late August on the cabooses.

I'm starting to wonder if this is now the norm, and nothing new will ever be made again.

I just happened to be looking at the atlas catalog online just before this thread started. The Frisco U Boat drawings look very nice.

For those who model Frisco steam era, 1880-1920, and even into the 30's, there will be four new additions to the Frisco line-up coming soon. All are direct Frisco Prototypes. Details soon to come...

According to IM's website, the modernized 50' PS-1's are now in stock. They were announced back in April of 2011 so they took nearly 2 years to make. They'd better be good. I've ordered 1 but haven't heard from my pusher if it has arrived yet.
