    Mike,

Also see Mark's post from 9/13/05. Mark told of both the GP-7s and Atlas's new B-30-7 both lettered for Frisco.

    Thanks!

Thanks Mark, far ahead of the pack you are. I got the Atlast notice in email today, and had forgotten your post.

    :D Nice!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Atlas GP7 in my local hobby shop soon- I've yet to see ANY GP7 done in the full-blown yellow-striped scheme. May be a Chirstmas present to myself......... ;)

I am ahead of all of you. I already have two (one of each road number) on order with my LHS. From what I read on Atlas' website a few weeks ago, the models are due about the end of February. I don't know if I can wait that long.

I have both the new Atlas SLSF 500 and 502 SLSF GP7's. They are pretty nice, run very well. Need a few details, the number lettering font on the cab side is too thick, but otherwise, they look great. Striping is nice. No longer Kato drive - the new Atlas locos feature PRC drives. But, seem to run smooth as Chinese silk!

I financed them by selling off my old Atlas/Kato undec GP7's (2) and a undec Atlas RS3, so I'm one loco down, but out no additional bucks, and I don't need to paint them. Deciding what details to add now ....
