Cool. My grandparents lived in Winona during the 70s. I remember the sawmill’s whistle blowing at noon everyday.
Just a quick update. I don’t have the heart to take down the railroad section that includes the line from Greenbriar to Zalma. I will also retain a short section past Greenbrier (the Diversion Channel diorama) as it will allow a small bit of switching with “staging”. Very limited operation but at least it will remain in working order and provide some occasional entertainment. That leaves about 20’ of branch line wit two spurs. Basically a shelf layout/diorama. Then it’s on to the Dark Cypress Swamp Lumber Tram in On30!
