I have a variety of N scale rolling stock and a few buildings that I would like to sell. I would like to sell everything in one lot. If you live in the Springfield, MO area, you can come by and get it... and I'll throw in a ride on the N&F RR for free! This is the Frisco Rolling Stock: 2 - Life Like E8 "Racehorses" - New In Box A set of 5 Con-Cor Frisco Passenger Cars - NIB An A-B-B-A set of Alco FA's in Black & Yellow - NIB A brown center cupola Frisco Caboose - NIB A brown steel offset cupola Frisco Caboose An Alco RS in Black & Yellow - bought used, condition unknown An Alco C420? Black & Yellow - bought used, condition unknown Brown Frisco Gondola w/ Tanks 2 Brown Frisco Boxcars & 1 Frisco Stockcar 1 Orange Frisco Boxcar (Bachmann) - NIB That is just the Frisco stuff. I have a pretty eclectic collection of other cars, mainly cheap B-mann stuff, along with a UP F unit, a UP 0-6-0, and a Southern high hood Geep. There are also the usual B-mann buildings, 3 small unassembled DPM kits, an unassembled Walthers kit, the good old Atlas turntable and assorted track. So, here is the deal. I finally came to the conclusion that I'm never going to build another N scale layout, at least not a large Frisco layout - no room in the house, and I am firmly committed to outdoor live steam. It doesn't make any sense to keep this stuff around gathering dust if one of you guys can use it. I want to sell all in one lot, so send me a PM and make me an offer. I mean it, don't be afraid to make an offer! I will make some Frisco N scaler very happy! Help me turn this N scale stuff into coal for the steam engines! Thank you, James Pekarek
Well, since there aren't any offers yet... I'll be happy to split it up if there is anything you guys want. I can ship it, too! The next step will be selling it off piece by piece on Ebay, so send me a PM now if you want to buy anything. Don't be afraid to make an offer!
What are your "racehorse" names and numbers? Also caboose numbers and manufacturer (Atlas etc.)? Thanks, Tom
Tom, The Racehorses are 2016 "Citation" and 2020 "Big Red". The cabooses (cabeese?) are both Atlas. The center cupola is numbered 1288 and has Kadee style couplers, New In Box. The offset cupola is the older Atlas generic caboose with Rapido couplers, number 350. Also, the Frisco Coonskin lettering is mis-printed on one side of the caboose from the factory . I hope this helps, if you have any other questions, just ask! - James Pekarek PS to Everybody: Don't be afraid to make an offer. I'm not looking to make back what I paid for this stuff, it just needs to go to a good home... feel free to make lowball offers, I won't be insulted! You might be surprised at the price!
No problem Tom, thanks for asking! So, everything is still available if anyone would like it... otherwise, I plan on putting some stuff on Ebay next week. Thank you!
