I just uploaded a few pictures of my N scale layout in the album section; feel free to comment.

Nice shots showing the progression. How long did it take you from the beginning shot to the final shot? Is this on a coffee table or something like that? That would be a great conversation starter. Good job on your layout. I have been surprised at how many people who come to my house want to see the trains. That will increase once I start work on my layout. Thanks for posting, Terry

I started work on Wednesday, and kept at it through Friday. I took Saturday off for the Trains, Planes & Autos Day we had at the Andover library. Resumed work on Sunday, and finished today. The structures came from my previous layout, and the scenery materials were left over, so that made things move faster.

The layout was set up on our small dining table because the light is very good there. It's permanent home is in my office.

If you want to see a fuller progression of photos, go to my Facebook page. Thanks for the compliments!

I've just posted a pic of the details I added a couple of days ago. Still a ways to go yet before it's complete.

    Robert,

Just noticed that you are in Andover. Do you know Bob Hoover in Wichita? You guys aren't too far apart.

Sure, we've met. Haven't seen him recently, since I had to miss the Wichita train show.
