The grandsons are keeping me busy with more track laying and running. Could the Pacific and the " other" passenger train be destined for blue and white?:D
And one more for the wife- the "Red Hat" society special!!

Definitely think Blue and White is in order and would look awesome.

To quote a now forgotten politician, " You betcha!!"
We didn't get a tree up this past year for the Christmas train, but it is already in the planning for this year! :)

    Gee Golly, neat stuff!

I may have to construct large scale along my 18 ft. livingroom wall and put the S scale project on the back burner afterall! Of course, Andre Ming will tar & feather me and make me eat more crow but at 65 I can see the trains without my glasses! The 40 ft. Frisco double door boxcar you have in the fleet reminds me of the Varney HO scale car I purchased after converting from Lionel 027 to HO in 1961. I didn´t need glasses to see it then. We are talking about 1961 BC. A long long time ago...LOL

I know all about the see-ing thing. Between the sight, and the fingers just not working like they used to, G scale is perfect for me. And, after realizing what HO prices have done on some equipment, large scale ALMOST seems economical. At least, you spend carefully so as to not incurr the wrath of the C.F.O. We are in current negotiations to approve a FireFly in G! [ Christmas??!!]

A G scale Firefly? Sure gotta see it when it arrives! I assume it will be scratch built and if so, by who? I have been checking out the large scale discounters and indeed, G scale isn´t all that expensive when you consider the size of the stuff! I like the idea of really "bending the iron" when I throw a switch. Will even revitalize my Santa Fe Conger stainless steel lantern for night switching! The Santa Fe still had AT&SF stamped on them for ownership in 1976!
