Does anyone have, or has ever seen, a photo or diagram of the tower that once stood where the Frisco and Kansas City Southern crossed at Neosho, MO?

    Thanks,

    Tom G.

Lloyd E. Stagner had a picture in his first Frisco book, Steam Locomotives Of The Frisco Line.

The top of the tower is visible above the fourth car in the train. Its train order signal is across the tracks to the right of the train. The tower sat on the northwest quadrant of the diamond crossing. Note the through rods to the right of the track linking to the interlocking derail, visible at the bottom of the image, and behind the photographer the west bound home signal.

See page 52, third photograph at bottom.

Edit 1/19/2024: Added author's first name, middle initial, book title, additional narrative concerning the photograph, page reference and location in photograph.
