    Hi,

I was checking InterMountains website today for new information on their N scale FP7A & F7B Frisco models. The models are no longer shown, so I called them for an update. They are still taking reservations, but the production is TBD. There has not been enough orders to justify a run, the models may be in danger of being cancelled. If anyone is interested you can place an order at your local dealer or InterMountain. The stock numbers are 69964 for FP7A and 69764 for F7B. The road numbers are 43 & 118. There was a second set TBD, no numbers available at this time. InterMountains price is $119.95 for A units & $89.95 for B. All models are DC powered with DCC plug.

    Thanks,
    Joe

I've been all through that with IM--Lots of emails back and forth. I wanted a black and yellow FP-7 like they already did in HO. Another fellow and I (He's a Katy fan) offered lots of photos and specs both of the Frisco and M-K-T FP-7's, but we were pretty well blown off. I also talked to their reps at a train show--same result.
So-o-o, I bought an IM FP-7 (From an on-line hobby shop) in the C&EI scheme (seemed to have the most features similar to the Frisco FP-7) and I'm going to paint and decal it myself.
I'm done with Intermountain. I don't have to buy anymore of their stuff or listen to their jive or "pre-order" anything. I have have some custom painted Kato F-3's and a set of the Life-Like FA's and my Frisco road freight fleet is complete and I don't have to deal with Intermountain any more!

I went hyper with Intermountain about them messing up their earlier b/y HO F7B's that they did with the b/y FP7's. They put d/b's on the F7B's, which of course they did not have. IRC certainly should have known better - they had pics, and they got the FP7 correct - no d/b.

They finally sent me a bunch of non-d/b F7B roof panels to shut me up.

I see from the pics of the proposed o/w units that they got it right this time - no d/b's.

If I here good reviews about this O/W HO F7B I might get one.
