Here's a confession. As a newspaper photographer, I shot lots of train pictures and enjoyed traveling on them, but I never was much of a train buff and had only general knowledge about them. I was in Cape Girardeau recently shooting some photos to go along with a 60s blog I do when I was surprised to see a caboose on the end of a short freight. It's the BNSF line today, but it'll always be the Frisco to me. Here are some photos of the train.
