Hey all you River Division guys, I need to get 5 or 6 N scale frieght cars appropriate for a short peddler frieght along the Hoxie Branch in the mid fifties. I'm shootin' for short train of older heavily weathered equipment and a caboose. Any suggestions? I found a 50' plug door Frisco boxcar at Hobby Lobby but the build date was 11-73. Figures. I need earlier than 1959. Thanks in advance. Jim

You would be looking for 40' boxes, 10,000 gal tank cars (Phillips, Mobil, Sinclair), 52'6" drop end gondolas, 2 bay covered hoppers, 42' -60' flats.

Jim, I have some cars that are way too early for my 1980 date. A variety including several Frisco. I'm trying to accomplish a swap with Louis for cars he has that are too modern.
Contact me offlist at steve503@cox.net and I can get you a list. I have some of the Mid-Continent tankers that the Region produced, etc.

Hi! I'm looking for two fairly accurate pre-1960 n scale Frisco cabooses. From what I've seen available, I may have to kitbash them myself. If anyone here has any suggestions or has something like this they are willing to sell, please let me know!

    Thanks!

My impression is that notheing out there is very accurate for that period (for N at least.) Joe Lovett is the most on-to-of-it about what's been produced when.
