    Holdenville, OK depot.

Holdenville Union Depot was located where one of the Frisco Texas lines crossed the Rock Island "Choctaw Route", Memphis, TN to Tucumcari, NM line.

The depot was built in 1913 and torn down in the early 1960s.

    Mike,

Thank you for adding the postcard photograph and depot diagram. These are most useful. Hopefully others will add similar information for other station locations.

Holdenville is located at mile post 519.6 on the Frisco's Creek Subdivision. As a point of clarification, the Frisco had three lines to Texas, all of which crossed the Rock Island's "Choctaw Route" in Oklahoma. This is the SLSF route south from Tulsa to Dallas/Ft.Worth. This route also includes the Sherman and Fort Worth Subdivisions.

The depot was appropriately located near the intersection of Frisco St. and W. Choctaw Ave. For an aerial view, please see the following link.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
