Hello. My name is Will and I love anything related to trains and history. My love for history stems from my dad and uncle and my fascination for trains came from my dad, grandpa, and my love of history. My great grandfather worked for the Manufacturers Railway, my uncle worked at Union Pacific, my grandpa worked at Anheuser Busch, and my dad at Micro Engineering and AB so I have some railroad blood in me. I use to live in Afton and always remember going under the Gravois Viaduct and route 66 bridge and I think that's what connected me to loving the Frisco. I like Frisco steam and diesel motive power in particular and looking back at St. Louis when it was 1930-40. I currently do not have any Frisco equipment but would like to model it in HO in the future. I collect postwar, mpc, and modern Lionel. I also played around with 7.5 inch gauge with the St. Louis Live Steamers. Sadly, I ended up ripping up track more than running trains. I am interested in joining the Wabash Frisco and Pacific. Does anyone have any information about them? In the meantime, I am having fun with my Lionel floor layout.

    Will -
Welcome aboard frisco.org. We are a fine organization of fine people who are strong fans of the Frisco railroad which was a fine RR. I know - lots of "fines" but all are true.

The Wabash, Frisco and Pacific RR is a neat organization in southwest StL county who run a nice outdoor miniature railroad along a former ROW of the MoPac. You can easily find their web page at www.wfprr.com on the internet. They have lots of information and pictures posted there, including how to join membership. I was never a member, but I and my son rode their RR several times, and had a good time.

We lived in Frontenac in St Louis County for many years until we moved to Naples, Florida five years ago.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully, they will be able to operate this summer and I can go visit/join.
