My name is Wayne Woods and my father, Lewis Woods, was a brakeman and conductor on the Frisco for over 30 years. He worked out of Monett in the 1960's and 1970's. If anyone has any family members who may have worked with him, I would love to hear from you.

Wayne, welcome aboard! Wondering if you are aware of the Frisco Employee Cards available on the internet. I googled Frisco Employee cards
and came up with the following
"Lewis Garland Woods Date of birth 7 -1-21 Died 1-17-74, Residence Monett MO , Fathers name Mose Chester Woods, Occupation Conductor
    Date signed 8-25-70"
FYI there is more information on the application but fact it was signed on 8-25-70 but date entered service is 4-41 is unusual. It is doubtful he
hired on as conductor in 1941 but probably had advanced from brakeman to conductor by time he signed the card.
The Railroad Historical Museum Inc. President Johnnie Wollard remembers working with a Walter Woods at Joplin in the 90's.
