Good morning. I'm Texas Midland and I currently reside in El Paso, Texas. And...I'm into Model Railroading, both Traditional and Virtual. I have the Frisco on several Interchanges on my Layouts and I'd like to know something more about it, particularly, the Signalling they used. Thanks, and its a pleasure to be on this great website. * Oh, and my Screenname here, Texas Midland, has nothing to do with Midland, TX. I am not, repeat, NOT from Midland. Rather, I'm from Laredo and the screenname commemorates Ned Green's Texas Midland Railway which was an innovative little East Texas Railroad which was set up around 1905 with his mama's money ( her name was Hetty Green and he was kind enough to name a Station after her. ...note, that she was the richest woman in America at the time ). It ran between Terrell, TX and the Interchange at Paris, TX where it connected with the Frisco. I've modelled it for the year 1922 ( I like to model 1920's and 1930's Railroads and I love the Lee Marvin movie, "Emperor of the North", which is about two hobos on a 1920's Train. ). 1
