Back around 1937 Frisco rebuilt a heavyweight passenger car with welded side construction. The car was mentioned in one of the "Classic Trains" books but I do not have access to these books at the present time. Can anyone identify this car for me? I would appreciate it!!!

I can't find my copies of those books either, but I'll try my memory. About that time the Frisco built two sleeper-buffet cars to run between Memphis and Pensacola. BTW, the cars that I'm thinking of were named Memphis and Pensacola. I could EASILY be wrong about that answer. Ken Mc, Ken W. and Karl B. may have corrections.

Memphis and Pensacola is the correct call.
