I have seen models in HO and O of a boxcar with another load of norge lettering on the side. I was wondering if there was such a car and something about it, if there was.
This sounds like dedicated service for the Norge plant in Ft. Smith, AR, now Whirlpool. Frisco, now A&M used big box cars to haul appliances out.
The Frisco Museum magazine , Spring 1995, has a detailed article on making model boxcars of this type. The 85 full scale cars were ordered by the Frisco in 1974 with class numbers 11900-11984.
