I got the newest issue of The Railroad Press and on the front cover is "Frisco in Kansas & Oklahoma" and inside is a nice 24 page article with lots of photos. Mostly O&W with a few B&Y thrown is and sorry Don, no steam. The editor does give a shout out to us.

Check it out when you get to your LHS.

What month issue would that be?

    Thanks, Tom

Can this magazine be ordered on the Internet without subscribing?

Is this article pretty good? I went down to my LHS today to take a look and, naturally, they didn't have a copy.

Its not bad. It is mostly 1970's railfaning and a history of that time. I enjoy the magazine and like the color photos that they use.

I went to Borders today and the previous issue (I guess Winter 2009/2010) was still on display. I already had that one. Steve, do you subscribe? Yours is way ahead of the newsstands.

    Tom,

Yes, I do subscribe. I would have thought that they would have reached the newsstands at the same time, but that it what I get for thinking.

From reading all these chats, it seems all the MR and RR magazines go to the subscribers early (That's fair enough). Currently, I just subscribe to RMC and it's also ahead of the newsstands.

I'll have to swing by my local Hasting's come payday next week to see if it's here yet.

My nearest newsstand or LHS is almost 100 miles away, so I have to subscribe in order to get anything.
