Hello Frisco Folks. Here is a photograph of the Frisco depot in Seneca, MO. Take care, Rich Ship it on the Frisco!
I work for the Seneca News-Dispatch in Seneca, Missouri. One of our reporters is doing stories on the history of the town and got me interested, too. Does anyone have information about when the station was built or about the building of the roadway into town? If so I would appreciate hearing about it at the following link. reporter@senecanewsdispatch.com
From Richard Crabtree on Frisco Rails Across Missouri. Here we are at the Frisco depot in Seneca, Missouri. Seneca was platted in 1869. The town was named for the Seneca Indian tribe. A post office called Seneca has been in operation since 1869. The Frisco Railroad would come through here in 1871 and build the first depot, photograph 1, in 1899.
