Frisco 86 ft. Hi-Cube Boxcar.

    Hi All,

    About a week ago, I picked up a Athearn 86 ft. Four Door Hi-Cube Boxcar, custom finished by Cooper & Oshtemo Loco Works. The car is painted a medium Yellow with the "Ship it on the Frisco" slogan. Nice looking car, but the doors are painted dark green. Is this right for this car? I thought the doors would be painted aluminum or silver? :confused: Thanks.

    I've seen one those at a train show and the doors were yellow

    Per Molo, doors were silver when new. As they weathered, they looked more like a shade of gray.
