There is not a simple story. I'll start with the construction of the T&P depot and GC&SF/H&TC depot
around 1899. These replaced an older Union Depot at the crossing of the T&P with the MKT and H&TC.

Basically, from 1900 to 1929, Frisco trains (including FtW&RG) used the T&P depot. This is the Romanesque-
style depot that burned and was replaced circa 1931 with the existing Art Moderne depot.
Exception: FtW&RG mixed trains used the Hemphill St. depot except for a period when the
mixed trains used West Yard as a terminal

By 1935, the TEXAS SPECIAL and OIL FIELD SPECIAL used the T&P depot while the Ft. Worth-Menard
trains #5/6 used the GC&SF Union Depot.

In 1938 and 1942, all Frisco trains used the T&P depot. [FtW &RG was sold to the Santa Fe in 1937.]

By 1945, joint Katy-Frisco trains used the T&P depot while the BLACK GOLD used Union Depot.

Same in 1947 and thereafter. In 1954 the BLACK GOLD ceased operating to Ft. Worth.
