Some more pictures up close I took this Monday at Eureka Springs AR.

I think the sign says it came from Fort Smith, AR.

The turntable sign does, indeed, say that it's originally from Fort Smith.

It occupies a spot close to the site of a turntable on the original line.

While reviewing Railroads of Northwest Arkansas, by Robert Winn, I noticed a statement I had previously missed.

"(The turntable) came from the Frisco at Fort Smith. A second turntable still in storage came from the Frisco at Hugo, OK."

Does anyone have any idea what happened to the former Hugo turntable?

Did it go for scrap or is it still hiding in the weeds somewhere at Eureka Springs?
