Eastern Division Employee Timetables Richard - Thanks for these postings. Keep those Eastern Division ETT's coming! Ken
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables Thanks Richard. I can make an educated guess but what's the difference between motor, local, and freight on the ETT's.
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables The motor cars were the gas-electrics or doodle-bugs. Folks on the Frisco, especially those in SE MO called them Bull Mooses, because of the sound of their horn. The 3rd Class locals were freights that called on every town, as required, to switch. Even though they weren't mixed trains, in many cases they carried passengers in the caboose. Check the Special Instructions to determine which trains did.
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables Richard, I appreciate the time and effort you are expending to make all these scans. Believe me, I know it takes both. My experience working with Central Division ETT's showed me that the one piece of information you need may exist on only one timetable and never be duplicated again. Each one is important in its own way. I can hardly wait to see what you may have for that division. John
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables Richard: I see where the pre-WWII employee timetables do not contain tonage ratings. Were these in special instructions? I'd be curious to see the difference in before/after ratings of the Dixon Hill realignment. Rick Morgan O'Fallon MO
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables Rick, I simply do not know the answer to your question. There are no special instructions that I am aware of for those years. Does anyone else the answer?
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables I'm impressed with the information in the ETT's, and I really appreciate the effort you've made to put them on-line. By any chance, do you know what station is represented by "YA" (as on a freight car reweigh date)? I've deduced that "SP" is Springfield, and I imagine "SN" is Snyder, but I can't find a plausible candidate for "YA". Joe A. ModelRRnut

Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables Joe: First, welcome aboard! One of the past FMIG Newsletters (#44 - January, 1986) has a list of "SL-SF Shop Symbols, Used When Stenciling...". You can find it here: http://www.frisco.org/vb/showthread.php?2117-FMIG-Newsletters&p=14671#post14671 Best Regards,
Re: Eastern Division Employee Timetables And ..... there is the "KW" Frisco shop here in Frontenac, MO. Some strange things heppen down there from time to time! Ken ps - Like a SLSF E8B to match the PTT cover (!), a Racehorse PA1 (!), and an Alco S-4 in Frisco b/y colors with gothic lettering (!). This last unit is well in the works as we speak. The Frisco had none of these, but maybe they should have.
