Way down in the booth heel is a little town called Canalou, Missouri. The railroad came to town around 1902/3 to bring the lumber to the market.
The Frisco Depot was built there to service the small town soon thereafter. The line ran down from Morehouse, Missouri.

We are back at Frisco Depot in Canalou, Missouri. These great pictures were taken there in 1910s and 1920s. The railroad was the life line to out side world for so many folks back in the day.

The Mail must get through! it is winter of 1925 and the Frisco Train has arrived at the Frisco Depot in Canalou, Missouri. The snow has really been coming down and they need the get out and clean out the cow catcher.
