    Howdy,

Just wanted to document that Frisco caboose intereiors were painted a very light green, almost a desert sand color. Here are repsonses I recieved to my request for color information:

Andy Harmantas reports that when he was last on board a SL-SF wide vision in downtown historic Lawton, it was the usual two tone industrial "sea foam green", which is really one part medium green to two parts medium gray. A darker shade was below the bottom window line, and a lighter shade was above. The floor was a dark red non-skid coating.

Richard Napper reports that the 1100 series Ex-ATSF CF-2's, and the 200 and 1200 series cabooses were all painted a light green interior color.

Jerry reports that he ownes Frisco caboose #1215. When he restored the interior and striped the old paint, which was a light green color, could be mistaken for a desert sand color. Jerry reports that he was in many Frisco cabooses over his younger years and knows that this was the color of all the cabooses he was in, including the wooden cabooses in the early 60's.

Thanks to all for providing to my query about Frisco caboose colors.

    Best Regards,
    mike
