In James R Fair's book, the North Arkansas Line, in the appendices, page 287, there is a black and white photo of a refrigerator car that the Missouri and Arkansas leased from North Western Refrigerator Lines NWX 519 for hauling strawberries which became bridge traffic on the Ft Smith sub. Trying to figure out what color the paint scheme was, the best I can figure is a gray body with red(?) ends. They became green and yellow after the M&A leases were gone. Any insights appreciated.
