    Folks,

This seems like the best place to put this thread.

I have located Sanborn Maps of Bragg City, MP 222, on the Caruthersville Branch, Leachville Subdivision River Division. I am good on the track plan.

What I cannot determine is the layout of the St. Louis Southwestern (SSW) or Cotton Bely crossing just to the west, MP 222.5.

Specifically, would this just have been a crossing or was there a connection by which the SL-SF/SSW could interchange?

The 1926 Frisco List of Agents, Stations, Etc. shows no interchange at Bragg City. However, the 1940 ETT shows a crossing protected by an interlocking. A 1969 Southern Division ETT shows a gate protecting the crossing.

    Any thoughts?

It has been several years but I believe it was only a crossing with no interchange.

I have been thru there several times and see no evidence of a interchange roadbed.
