    Does anyone have any figures on the boiler diameters of the 1500, 4300 and 4400 series locomotives?

    The 43oo and 4400 series boilers looked so much fatter, but I do not ever remember seeing any figures or dimensions.

    1520 series from smokebox rearward to firebox - 83.25", 80.5", 82", 92.625".

    4300 and 4400 series from smokebox rearward to firebox - 88.1875", 86.o", 92.3125", 101.1875".
