A couple of weeks ago, during one of my regular travels around Seattle, I happened upon a beat up BNSF GP38. I didn't give it any thought, and it sat in my "to do" folder, until last night when I processed it. Turns out it's an ex Frisco unit, SLSF 660. It's the one that was wrecked in Denison TX on 4/15/1980, and rebuilt with the blanked out cab as A GP38B, later being converted back to a standard cab. It's a bit tattered, in need of a paint job.

Does anyone have any details on the Denison wreck?

I checked the ICC accident reports, but I didn't see a report for this accident.
