Okay, Bachmann is producing a 52' TOFC (and no, none are Frisco). I see that Frisco's 958xx series were 42 footers. Does anyone have any diagrams or photos of the 958xx series? None are shown in the previously posted freight car diagram book as it skipped that (those) page(s). I was wondering to: a) just used the over length cars or b) cut 10 foot out of the middle but need to see what could be involved. EDIT - just found the Apr-May '92 All Aboard that showed the 42 footers. I may have to wait a bit to ensure that I have that issue as the online version doesn't enlarge all that well.

I know that sounds like a fun project, but would it be simpler to start with a 42' flat car? Intermountain makes a great model and there was a special run done a while back of Frisco cars, but they might all be gone now. They weren't on the intermountain site, they were on club web site that Mike Corley was in (Texas Western Club?)

I managed to get 3 of the club cars (standard flat cars), but the Bachmann's are a "standard" TOFC car with the ramps, etc., hence my question.
