Here's a link for Atlas N scale Frisco 34' 2 Bay Hoppers without trucks and couplers for $5.95 each, in case you don't have enough. Ed http://shop.atlasrr.com/p-45761-n-2...couplers-or-packaging-road-number-may-va.aspx
Just wondering, what category on the Atlas site did you search to find pre-painted shells for parts? I tried looking under the N Locomotive Parts tab and only found undecorated shells... Thanks! JFM
In the left hand column of web page is a tab for "SALES SPECIALS and CLOSE-OUTS". That will get you to the decorated locomotive shells. Ed
Thanks for the heads up, Ed. I could use a bunch of these. Renumber and put some Microtrains trucks and couplers on them and I will have nice car at a decent price. Any idea when Atlas released these cars? I must have missed them. I have a bunch in this style from Microtrains.
Does anyone have a better/different link for these hoppers? I've tried Ozark Ed's link with several different tweaks to no avail?? Thanks, Tom G.
The link worked yesterday. This morning I get a message that the Atlas website is down for maintenance.
Dale, I went away from the hobby for about 15 years and had recently returned. I couldn't tell you they were first released, saw some on Ebay and thought "huh, got to have them!". Looks like atlas re-did their web site over the weekend, try this link; http://shop.atlasrr.com/p-45761-n-2...couplers-or-packaging-road-number-may-va.aspx
