    GP7 SLSF 538 and SLSF 614

3 Photographs of GP7s SLSF 538 and SLSF 614 leading a train with two additional sisters.

Location of the picture with the water tower appears to be Beaumont, KS.

Others are assumed to be in Kansas, but exact location unknown.

    Photographer Unknown.

    Slides are dated August 1968.

Edit: The first picture may be Severy, Kansas. (klrwhizkid)

Edit 2/28/2024: First photograph is Severy, KS. Train is west bound on the Wichita Subdivision. It is just crossing the ATSF, MP 438.6. Normal position of the gate protecting the crossing is against the Santa Fe.

Third photograph is Beaumont, KS, MP 458.5. Train is westbound on the Wichita Subdivision. It is passing the now preserved wooden water tank at that location. Beaumont was also a junction with the Beaumont Subdivision that extended Southwest to Enid, OK.
