I built these cars from Accurail kits I tried to get the decals as close to the photos as I could, but I am not a professional decal maker. I am re-posting the photos of the 500 and 502 (need to weather them both) as in the other post they were way too large, for some to view. The 531 photo looked to me to be just before scrapping. The prototype photos I saw are not mine, and I have been asked not to post them, sorry wish I could.
Subtle weathering and great decal job. It adds up to more fine examples of your skills. Keep the pics coming when you can.
Thanks Jim This era of modeling is new for me. The cars in the photos dont appear to be too badly "beaten up" or dirty. But there is so little info or pictures of QA&P stuff.
Very nice Tom. Still searching for QA&P gear. The book I just got didn't really help me. Next stop is the QA&P Museum in the Panhandle. Can you say road trip???
Thanks Manny Been to Quanah many times to the QA&P museum and they dont have much in the way of QA&P stuff or pictures of same. One place you might visit is the Public Library in Quanah they do have some pics. You might try Paducah and Roaring springs Libraries/museums as well, and Floyada might have some stuff too. Never tried anywhere but Quanah. I will PM you with the name of a guy that may be able to help in your quest.
