Please join me in congratulating our young friend, Ethan Lawrence (Iantha Branch) and his Lamar Tiger teammates on winning their third consecutive State Title. Very proud of you young man!

Congratulations to the entire team, as well as Ethan! Three consecutive Championships indicates well above average player talent and excellent coaching to best use those talents.

What position do you play, Ethan? Also, is this your Senior year? College play in your future?

Thanks everyone. And I am a Senior, I played Nose Guard, but don't plan to play football at college.
It's been a great 4 years playing, and a great season this year, now that it's over I will have more time to spend with the trains though.

Nose Guard: Classic "Smash Mouth" football! Contact n' helmet bangin' every snap of the ball. Well done, Ethan, well done.

Congratulations on another successful season! Good going. The St. Louis "Frisco-connections," Kirkwood and Webster Groves did not fare as well in the state competition as Lamar did.

I have one question, though. Do you "channel" a Frisco 4500 or SD-45 as you play your position?
(You are probably "strictly business" when on the field, but it was fun to ask.)

George, no I don't do that, Im business. With the way we run our defense you have to be ready every play to read what they do. Going straight forward and kicking heads isn't good enough, even all the way down to nose guard.
