My trip down the rabbit hole last night yielded a nice wide shot of the Frisco's 19th street yard in Kansas City, MO on September 3, 1979. https://www.railpictures.net/photo/831200/

I don't recall seeing any pictures taken from this vantage point before. This really helped give me a sense of the actual size and spread of the yard and adjacent facilities. If anyone notices something of interest, please point it out for us.

With the Frisco subject matter addressed, it's also worth noting the actual subject of the picture is a BN Coal train mislabeled as OBEX. I believe this is actually an OGEX train being transferred to the Santa Fe to be sent south to the Sooner Generating Station at Red Rock Oklahoma. Interestingly enough, this power plant is just a few miles off of the Frisco's Perry Subdivision. An additional personal note, my grandfather was on the construction crew that built Sooner Lake to supply water for that power plant.

Notice the size of the fuel tank on the right side of the photo.
