Hello Everyone, I am looking for photographs of the following Frisco Hopper cars as recorded in the 1906 Original Railroad Equipment Register for the St. Louis & San Francisco Ry. Reporting marks: St. L. & S.F. Classification: Self Clearing Hopper Road Numbers: 80900 to 80999 and 81000 to 81299 If you have any please kindly PM me. Thank you, Manny Followup to this original post. I have acquired a builders photograph of the Frisco Hopper 80899, built 1910. This car is now being crafted for production. Thank you to all who helped. Manny View attachment Frisco 80899.jpg
Re: Wanted: 1900's Frisco Hopper photographs These cars would be at the Turn of the Century, not the 1950's reclassification of which are already in the Hopper car forum. Thanks, Manny
Re: Wanted: 1900's Frisco Hopper photographs Manny, while I don't see the class you're requesting, the Missouri State University Digital Collections has a dandy c. 1902 paint guide for Frisco rolling stock: http://digitalcollections.missouristate.edu/cdm4/document.php?CISOROOT=/Frisco&CISOPTR=17&REC=16 "Page 10" is a dandy for KCC&S boxcar, right down to the "Clinton Line" star. Best Regards,
Re: Wanted: 1900's Frisco Hopper photographs Boy, I wish there was a passenger car painting diagram book like this from about 1944! Pullman greens, Blue and Grays etc... Tom
Re: Wanted: 1900's Frisco Hopper photographs Thanks Chris, I have those pictures downloaded already. I need the elusive Frisco Hopper. No one has seen one ever? This is strange. I know they exist.
