    Lamberson quarry and the geology lesson: Fascinating!

    What highways were you on to shoot those pics?


    Lamberson:

    I have a virtual (Microsoft Train Simulator) Frisco route I've worked on off/on over the past decade or more of the Frisco circa late 1880s that goes from Monett to Talihina. You guys got me thinking about next time I revisit that project I'll extend the tail track into "Crusher Hollow" and model a quarry scene.

    With a name like "Crusher Hollow", it seems evident that there was at one time a rock operation in the hollow somewhere.
