1714 has been on display in Lamar, MO since its retirement. The outside appearance has been maintained with a couple coats of paint through the years. I took a picture of it in the snow today that I wanted to share.
I can't remember clearly on the lower windows. I know when I was a kid it was open and the windows up in the cupola were the original sliding windows. I think the lower windows were still open at the time. Unsurprisingly, kids started vandalizing the thing so they locked it up and sealed up the windows.
