Hello all! I am from Centralia, Mo and grew up with the N&W and the ICG/CMW/GW railroads. My first exposure to the Frisco was an excursion by 1522 to Moberly (I think in the late 80’s, maybe early 90’s). Beautiful engine and wish it was still in service. I live in O’Fallon, Mo but now work in the Crestwood area and have taken an interest in the trains of that area. I recently purchased Don Wirth’s Frisco Steam Salute and loved it. It was fun to find the photo locations on google maps and see how things have changed! I currently model the N&W and UP in HO scale but may have to add some Frisco units for fun!
