    Frisco 4-6-0 engines 627 - 675

    Thanks for posting these photos. My Grandfather listed engine numbers 634 and 650 in his logs for 1917 as a fireman.

    Thanks, Rich, for these photos. Like Mark , my Grandfather listed mainly 633 & 630 in his log and even posed with some of the family with 630, which I use as my image.
    I recently purchased a photo of 631 with the crew and believe my Grandfather is in the picture which dates in the late 1910's (mainly thinking 1917) due to the Frisco lettering on the tender and the engine number on the cab. I'll upload that picture if anybody can give me a more realistic date. I think that is my Grandfather, Luther R. Rankin fourth from the left. He was a fireman from about 1916 to 1959 (less WWI time).
