1249 is still in Tulsa and it was never restored, I had good intentions but after I got 1249 there were 2 more Frisco cabooses that became available and they are 1288 and 1291 and they were in better condition than 1249 but they needed a few parts. 1249 has provided window frames, bathroom walls, couplers, door latches and handles, coupler lift bars, end railing pieces, and countless other detail parts to the restoration of 1288 and 1291. 1249 still has the body intact and has the trucks and it could be used as a cool storage building or lake cabin or some other cool thing and I would love to give it to someone or some group that had a reasonable use for her.
