Mark is down to 2L/min of supplemental O2 and the doctor is intimating that Mark be able to return home tomorrow. Sharon's condition has gotten a little rocky with ups and downs from 4L/min to 10L/min of O2. She may have a longer stay.
Nasty stuff. The nurses at my wife's dialysis lab said its no joke. She also has COPD and bad emphysema, so we worry about one of us getting it. 14 litres of O2 is a lot! Glad they are bringing his down.
Mark's condition was good enough that he went home today. Sharon will probably stay until the middle of the week based on her condition.
Keith, thanks for keeping us informed as to Mark's condition. I am glad to hear he went home, but I am sorry to hear about Sharon's being hospitalized and hope and pray she can go home also. Terry
Keith ... I just noticed this thread. Please give Mark and Sharon my best. Praying that they recover with no side effects.
Mark is doing much better but still healing. Sharon returned home on the 24th and is fairing better. They still have an uphill haul to fully recover.
