    Attached is a group of photos of the Kansas City Belt Railroad (Kansas City Terminal Ry predecessor) Frisco Crossing just south of 25th Street in 1910-1911.
    The file names identify the views.

    Those "diagonal" layouts are merely attempts to represent a non-rectilinear scale world in a rectilinear non-scale format. Example: the Fairgrounds Branch and Alley tracks do not follow straight lines, and the Alley tracks are in reality very close to parallel to the main; the main is parallel to Southwest Boulevard and the Alley tracks ran in the alley on the south/east side of Southwest Boulevard.
