I have no idea where to post this inquiry (moderators feel free to change). Is the 1962 (?) video that Don Wirth contibuted of the Meteor available on here? It shows a very neat run by of the train near St. Louis. Don's father may have been the engineer?? If so, can anyone guide me to it.

    Thanks, Tom G.

Anyone else having trouble getting this video to play? Any ideas? It just might be my sorry little Amazon Fire tablet.

Worked for me. I used the default player on my computer.
For what its worth, I think the trailing unit is 2017 or 2007.

I downloaded that video some time ago and it works fine. Unfortunately I do not recall whether it came from the dot-org site or elsewhere. The whole thing only lasts about 20 seconds. I would guess the train is going 45-50 miles per hour at this point.

The file is a .wmv file which may not play on Apple devices.

Hmmm. That might be the problem as I am using an Apple MacBook.

Is there any other video "player" I might be able to download? I believe before my computer problem I was able to run this Meteor video on the MacBook.

I'd like to download a "player" that might work myself.

I use VLC media player. It is open-source and plays most formats on my PC. I do not know if or how it work on Apple products.
