A friend of mine is looking for any photos of the interlocking tower at Thomure, MO where the Missouri-Illinios crossed the Frisco and went down the incline to the car ferry.

    Anything out there?

I don't know about the tower, but I think there's a photo of the junction and the incline in Collias' Frisco Power.

Also in the St. Louis Glory video, Herron Videos, there's a scene from Thomure.

It's been such a long time since I looked at the book or video, that I'm kinda fuzzy of what's actually what's there in either.

Only reason I recall is Thomure is sort of an odd name and it tweaked my memory.

    Don,

    Tom beat me to it.

Wonder if someone at the Ste. Genevieve Museum/Historical Society might be able to produce one?

I know that their museum has a splendid model of the Missouri-Illinois (M-I) Railroad ferry that used to keep me riveted for a good half-hour or more when we'd go to Jour De Fete every year.

One little aside, in some of those pictures are the neat the Missouri Pacific (MP) candy striped crossbuck posts.

Even here in Springfield MO, at one of the MP's distant outposts there were some of those crossing signposts at a few crossings.

Although I model the Frisco, I might have to have a couple of those "stripes" on my layout.

    More on this thread.

I just came across photos of the 2015 Railroad Prototype Meeting (RPM) meet in St. Louis.

It includes this model of the car ferry.

    Tom,

I haven't really looked, but I wonder if this detail is something that Dale Rush has via Blair Line?

    Best Regards,
