I thought all of us large scale modelers need to know this. Aristocraft is shutting down! Siting poor sales, problems overseas, and other thongs, they are closing the doors! If you go to their site, there is a 40% sale on everything but the electronics. Sad day indeed, the large scale trains are fabulous. I was hoping to see more Frisco products from them. Dan
I'm certain that the Aristo-Craft product line of large scale models will be purchased by another manufacturer. No doubt there will be a lapse in time before the new owner will place them on the market. Which models will be released first will remain to be seen of course. Price increases cannot be ruled out either. With the model railroad market saturated with models in all scales I'm not surprised to see others close their doors either. Joe Toth
